We'd love to hear any stories you may have about her!
Jennifer Ferer was an amazing, beautiful woman. She was a devoted mother and wife. Anyone who knew Jennifer knew that family was at the heart of all she did. Along with her wonderful husband, Michael, Jennifer created a home where her two incredible daughters flourished. Jennifer was so proud of the confident, young ladies her girls have become. Lauren and Megan are her greatest legacy.
How fortunate and blessed we are to have so many wonderful memories with Jennifer. Sunday family dinners often brought us all together where we laughed and shared our funny stories around a crowded dinner table filled with good food. If you've ever been to a holiday party at the Ferer's house, you didn't have to be blood to be family. Jennifer was the eternal hostess from Thanksgiving dinners, Fourth of July parties, and family milestone celebrations. She created a home to celebrate family and where all felt welcomed.
If anyone knew Jen, they knew her love of family also included her two dogs Buddy and Avery, who were a constant source of joy for her. Perhaps that explains her love of the character Snoopy.
As a teacher, Jennifer, knew the importance of education. Lauren, her oldest, is soon to head off to college next year. After taking a road trip with Lauren to visit a number of colleges over the Spring break, Jen was looking forward to her daughter taking that next step in her journey into adulthood.
The poem, You Are My Sunshine, my only sunshine, You make me happy when skies are gray... was Jen's motto for Megan. Together they enjoyed baking family goodies and treats for friends.
In her husband Michael, she found the man of her dreams who also made all her dreams come true. Together they were an unstoppable team and were the perfect compliment to each other. You just knew that their commitment and love for each other would go the distance and for Jen it did to the very end.
Jennifer was a vibrant woman in the prime of her life. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Family first - that was always at the front of Jennifer's thought process.
The power of love and gratitude will dissolve all negativity in our lives, no matter what form it has taken!
I truly believe this.. This is what I'm thinking about when it gets hard :)
